A SUCCESSFUL CAMP DEPENDS ON GREAT COACHING.

All of Britannia’s coaches have extensive experience from England and youth soccer in the U.S. holding national or state licenses.

Coaches are selected for their knowledge of soccer and are all experienced educators.

COACHING STAFF:

MIKE HALL-MOUNSEY will be bowing out gracefully for Britannia 2009. The camp will continue to run in the same manner under the guidance of Adam Smith (details below) and the  Ventura County Fusion soccer organization. Adam has been officially linked with Britannia for many years, taking a main coaching and organizing role. In addition, the Fusion soccer organization has already developed excellent relationships within the Ojai community, and looks to extend these further with the amalgamation of Britannia and Fusion soccer. Mike has a change of role within his OVS school duties so feels this is the right time for Britannia to merge. Of course, Mike will be providing the necessary guidance to Adam and the Fusion to ensure that Britannia continues to be a great success.  

ADAM SMITH (Camp Director) has extensive coaching experience both in the UK and the US at the NCAA, High School, club, and camp level. His playing experience includes keeper for the Premiership team Everton FC on their U-17 squad, where he worked extensively with Gordon Banks, goalkeeper for England when it won the 1966 World Cup. Adam holds an English FA Preliminary license, a USSF A license, and a USSF National Goalkeeper License.

GRAHAM SMITH (Head Coach of Fusion Men's PDL Team) was a professional player in England, holds the full license from the Football Association and was a staff coach at LillesHall, the national soccer headquarters in England. He has been a selector for the F.A. School of Excellence, Course Director for the Japanese F.A. and Commercial Director of Premier League CHELSEA.

RANBIR SHERGILL, VC Fusion GM and Head Coach Fusion W League Women's teams, ODP National Championship winner 2008, Region IV ODP, Masters degree in Education with emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction, USSF, UEFA and SAQ Certified.  

SEAN ROACH , Fusion Youth Academy Director of Coaching, Head Coach Moorpark College,  Cal South District Head Coaching Instructor, ODP Head Coach, ODP National Championship Winner 2008, USSF A License.

DARIO POTT, Fusion Youth Academy Technical Director, Fusion W League Women's Assistant Coach, Former Pro Player, Coached in UEFA Cup, Masters degree in sports coaching and holds the UEFA PRO License.  

DAVID MOODY has been involved with youth soccer for over 26 years. He currently holds a National ‘D’ License and coaches competitive soccer in Kansas City, MO.

"Fusion player stars" will also be on hand to provide tips and skills to all the 2009 campers!
