A SUCCESSFUL CAMP DEPENDS ON GREAT COACHING. All of Britannia’s coaches have extensive experience from England and youth soccer in the U.S. holding national or state licenses. Coaches are selected for their knowledge of soccer and are all experienced educators.

COACHING STAFF: MIKE HALL-MOUNSEY ( Camp Director) has been organizing Britannia Soccer Camp for 25 years. He is the Headmaster of our host school, Ojai Valley School, and has been an educator and soccer coach for 31 years. Mr. Hall-Mounsey states, “our goal is to make sure every player has a positive and enjoyable experience. We believe that a week at camp can really benefit every player.” GRAHAM SMITH (Director of Coaching) was a professional player in England, holds the full license from the Football Association and was a staff coach at LillesHall, the national soccer headquarters in England. He has been a selector for the F.A. School of Excellence, Course Director for the Japanese F.A. and Commercial Director of Premier League CHELSEA. DAVID MOODY has been involved with youth soccer for over 26 years. He currently holds a National ‘D’ License and coaches competitive soccer in Kansas City, MO. ADAM SMITH has extensive coaching experience both in the UK and the US at the NCAA, High School, club, and camp level. His playing experience includes keeper for the Premiership team Everton FC on their U-17 squad, where he worked extensively with Gordon Banks, goalkeeper for England when it won the 1966 World Cup. Adam holds an English FA Preliminary license and a USSF B license.
